Das Nest Budapest

Loved the unique design and decoration of the public areas. the common areas were impressive and created a lovely vibe. Enjoyed meeting other travelers and the open, friendly atmosphere. the large dining table was perfect for conversations and there was always plenty of tea and coffee.

Felt safe walking at night, no reason to complain.

Staying at the hostel was an very nice experience. The cozy atmosphere and friendly people made me feel lucky to have been recommended this place. It's also conveniently located near transportation and bustling city life, perfect for those looking for nightlife options.

Specific situation: unfortunately, my laptop was stolen. It was disheartening to realize that there were no locks on the room doors, making it easier for someone to enter and steal my belongings.

the location was superb, nestled in a residential area surrounded by restaurants and shops. the quirky design of the common room added character to the hostel, and the ability to cook our own food was a great convenience. the rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Complimentary earplugs and tea/coffee were nice touches. the hostel had a cozy, loft-like atmosphere and the reception was open 24/7.

We felt well taken care of and would highly recommend Das Nest for anyone visiting the city. Cons: Nothing to dislike.
